Back to Mid Valley..
Well, the Boss has spoken, and the decision has been made. Effective 1st Jan 2006, Natallie Leong will be based back at the Head Quarters @ Mid Valley, sitting next to the boss's room at the 8th (annexed) Floor of Menara IGB, doing marketing for the new 1.5mill square foot of office space that would be coming up in Mid Valley, AS WELL AS, managing Plaza Permata at the same time! GREAT! Still getting the same old sad salary, but job scope expanded like mad! What can I say? IGB's giving me a great chance to learn and expose myself in this property sector?! BLEEK!! Hell no! aihh.. but what can I say? As long as I still want my monthly payroll from IGB, I would have to go/do whatever my superior says no matter how unjustified it may be! *damn*!
As for now, I'll just have to clear up whatever rubbish that I have at Plaza Permata, so that SHOULD a new adminitrative person comes, she wont have so much trouble taking on from where I have left them. Come to think of it, I have actually quite alot to do here as documents and preparations needed for the transfer of strata titles are yet to be completed! I have yet to photostate the SPA and the Deed of Assignments, yet to summarize the financiers and their addresses, yet to compare the stratafied areas with the SPA areas, yet to come out with the Statement of Account for each and every purchaser etc etc.. And I'm just wondering, how the hell am I to do all the above when I'm based at Mid Valley, while the files are in the store at Plaza Permata?! Perfect!! Just perfect!!! %#@&^@&#@*#@!!!
Hm... but maybe there's a brighter side to all these. I wont have to be stucked in the stupid Jalan Tun Razak/Mahameru jam every morning/evening, I get to have more choices for lunch, and get to have 1st hand knowledge to all the sales in Mid Valley again. But over and over again, my brain tells me that these positive sides of the story aint enough to cover up the ugly side! I do not like to do marketing at boss's office coz I'll have to report to another lady which (according to many different sources) suck big time! I do not like to be based at the HQ when most of my job entails information from Plaza Permata! I do not like to be managing P.Permata when there isn't any competent adminitrative person to help me with the administrative functions! I do not like to be managing the PEOPLE in Plaza Permata and make them report to me when their POSITIONS are 2 steps higher than me!!! Come on! This is just not logical! How can an assistant manager report to an small chiku executive like me?! How do I set that as a standing instruction? WHO AM I TO DO THAT?! Though the boss tells me over and over again that the Asst. Manager is to report to me (the exec), but how am I ever to set that reporting line?!!??!?!?! Goodness! I wonder what's in the brain of all these upper management!
But well, this should not dampen my spirit to say bye bye to year 2005 and recept year 2006 with open arms. Like what I've said before, I can proudly say that I've achieved quite alot this year. Have no regrets over what happened and am very proud that I've survived and stayed strong despite all the hurdles that were in my way! Like what a close friend told me, "what does not kill us, makes us stronger".. hm.. or something like that.
Well, I'll still have ALOT to do before the new year comes. Hopefully whatever that needs to be done this year would be completed in time for me to happilly bid goodbye to 2005!
