Holiday breaker

Totally do not understand why the company makes us work today (ie 23/10/06).
Aside from attending a short (REALLY SHORT) meeting this morning, I dont see the reason for me being on my working desk now! No calls at all (it's as if my phone has spoilt or something!), the printer is not even on, the photostating machine is free and even the tea-ladies are sitting in the pantry chatting away (instead of running to and fro from the meeting rooms).

Came in late this morning and even then I manage to park at Level 2 (I usually drive all the way up to Level 4 or 5 at 9am!) But of course if you were to come in now (at 3.45pm) no matter how many times u go round, u still wont be able to secure a parking bay cuz u'd be fighting with all those last minute shoppers! Went down to the mall for a short while during lunch break and the amount of shoppers in the mall is absolutely CRAZY!!! Couldn't stand the crowd and therefore came back to the bored, quiet and lifeless office.

Dear has just gone home.. his boss told them that they can go off at 3pm.. that leaves me even more bored sitting here.. no one to chat with on msn nor yahoo.. arghh..Totally TOTALLY do not understand why this chinaman company didn't declare a day off for us! ARGHH!!!
