No longer "confined"!! *yay!*

The daisy path says little Ving Anne is a month old!!! YAY!!!!! FINALLY! Full moon! (or rather, it's a full-'month')!! and fullmoon means CONFINEMENT PERIOD IS OVER!! YAY!!!!!

I cant believe I survived this one whole longggg month!!! Not so much of the hassle to take care of my baby, but the rules and do's and dont's of being a lady in confinement!

I never thought I'd be able to:-

- live with hair unwashed for more than 2 weeks!!!! (TWO WEEKS WEI!!!! I dare not even untie my hair for fear that dandruff or dirt will drop everywhere or the stinking smell with make dearie/anne faint!! muahaha)

- eat ginger and drink wine like I've never did before (ok ok.. so I admit that I didnt eat enough ginger or drink enough wine, but hey! I tried my best [and have no regret] dy!! kekeke

- not drink cold water for a month!!! THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE ACHIEVEMENT, I tell u!!! I've been drinking cold water throughout my pregnancy and everyday before that.. and during this one month confinement, wahhhh... I super kuai! :) :)

- not set a single step outside my house for a full month!!

- bathed with very minimal herbal water every day. )I think I must have accumulated an inch of daki! kekeke)

- live in perfect harmony with my MIL :P

- survived eating the absolutely terrible-cum-yucky-cum-tasteless-cum-ugly confinement food prepared by the half-day confinement lady. (ewwwww.. goosebumps when I think back on what I've eated for the past one month.. EWWWWwwwww. I'll NEVER complaint abt Mi's food anymore.. ANYMORE!)

- I'd manage to take care of my little one day and night and not feel sleepy even with only a few hours of sleep a day. (to those who know me well, u know how much I need to sleep a day, right? Miracle that I can survive this lah!!)

We had the fullmoon celebration yesterday instead of today coz yesterday was Anne's fullmoon according to the chinese calendar. So the usual prayers in the morning, followed by a good bath with petals of flowers thereafter.

After all the bathing and prayers, went out for Xzan's convo studio pix in town. First time Anne and myself stepping out from the house after returning from Britannia.

And at night, had a small makan with the family. Nice :)
