Winter Solstice

It's the time of the year again! Everyone eats flour balls, counts down to Christmas and it's a month away to CNY!


This time last year, da whole family was at Penang, supposedly to be happily celebrating Christmas! But because I was in the 'ngau-"lui" mode (;p) I ended up sleeping (n vomitting) my time away in Penang! wahlaauuu


So much happened over one year. This time round, we have Anne celebrating all these festivals with us (by sleeping in the sarong! :S) ! And by next year, she'll be sitting on the table, eating and laughing with us already! Yay!

So well, it's also the time of the year to reflect and to make resolutions. I skipped all of these last year coz I was too bz making friends with the toilet bowl. However, it's also nice to look back at how much we have accomplished last year. A new house, a whole successful happy wedding celebration, a sweet and memorable honeymoon, Dearie's license, my change of job etc etc.

This year, it's awfully clear what our major accomplishment is ~~ HEE VING ANNE :)
Whatever happened prior to August 4th is deem unimportant. Whatever interesting events that happened after that were all written in my August, September, October, November and December post :) And well, I guess it all revolves around Anne, and no one else but Anne. I didnt care abt what happened outside, be it politics, be it super safers for travelling, be it increasing/decreasing oil prices yadda yadda.. All that mattered was and still is, our little angel..

Of couse in between there were horrible stuff that took away my attention fr her (ie, the time da sister fell ill and was warded) and there was also something called "work" that took off the rest of my time when I wasnt just admiring my lovely baby (hahaha.. damn mengada!)

So well, what's gonna happen next year? Basically, no one knows. Everyone's saying it'll be a really difficult year. No matter how difficult it may become, hopefully we'll be able to pull through.. So Natallie Leong! No more spending unnecesarily! Be good at work and hopefully no one sacks u! :P

So the resolution for next year? ... 2 simple yet hard to achieve targets:-
1) Be a good mother, a better wife and a considerate daughter/sister
2) Pay more attention at work and learn to like what I'm doing

That's it. If I can do it, I'll be a super-heroin! kekeke..
