The new bed...

Freaked out many times last week as I saw Anne standing at the edge of her babycot, grabbing the handrail sambil sing and dance *OMG*

My heart nearly fell out when I saw her goyang-goyang at the end of her cot! Worried that she might topple over or hit her head against the wooden part of the cot, I jumped out of bed and brought her back to her sleeping position. After lulling awhile, she went back to sleep. Same thing happened 2 days down the road. Made me super sleep deprived as I'm always having the horror thought that I'll wake up seeing Anne at the edge of the babycot again.

This is how she stands on the cot.

She'll be bending/straightening her knees (her way of dancing) with soft whispering humming (her way of singing) ... she seems to like the fact that she can now pull herself up and sit down and repeat the process over and over again.

To minimize the lack of sleep, told dearie that we'll have to change the babycot to a single-bed mattress over the weekend. At least if she's on a mattress, if she were to fall out *touchwood* it wouldn't be from such a high level!!! Also, I wouldnt need to worry that she might hit the edges of the wooden babycot on a mattress. All we need to do is to surround the mattress with pillows.

So over the weekend, we quickly bought a bed for Anne. We were initially worried tho.. worried that she might not be used to the bed and wants to go back to the cot. But Anne's a big gal dy :) She loves her bed! So much so that during the day, when she's home, she wants to walk up to the room and play on the bed!

It's 090909 today and dearie's sis in Sitiawan just gave birth to a healthy baby girl that weighs 3.87kg!! Congrates and welcome lil one to the big family ! :)
