Sok Yin's Wedding @ Rawang; 18/06/06

First wedding that I've attended from the Goh/Ng family (my mother's side). Sok Yin, the son of my mom's eldest bro wedded on Father's Day. Cant say much about the whole ceremony as we werent really involved; involved as in the family-member kinnda involvement. We played more of a mutual-friend role during the dinner as we dont know most of the invitees.

Dinner was held in the most well-known restaurant in Rawang, Yau Kee. There were 23 tables and supringly, 3 families were having their wedding dinner there at the same time!! Each family was only separated by a half-height partition. Waitresses recognize the tables by the different coloured table cloth. We could hear the other families toasting, their guest singing, and their "tai kam che" saying all the traditional bull-shit (opps.. hehe). One good point though, the food was good!!! VERY GOOD actually! For merely RM430, we had "sei yuet fun", sharks' fin, suckling pig, fish, prawns and all the other normal wedding dinner dishes. A spread like this would easily cost RM700 - RM800 in KL!!
