One Year Anniversary
This time last year, we had our house warming party with the extended family to celebrate the first day of us moving into this new place called HoMe.
Time passed by soooo quickly and with a blink of an eye, we've had our wedding, our honeymoon and in barely 4 month's time, our lil bundle of joy will come bringing extra hapiness and meaning to our lives.
Life has been really fulfilling thus far. No doubt with lots of ups and downs, but well, without the 'down', how would we know how to appreciate the 'ups', no? (hehehe... gosh.. 'm getting crappy! Must be the change in hormones :P )
To everyone out there.. embrace life positively :)
We complain so frequently on how bad life is, how lowly paid we are, why we cant go round visiting the world, why I dont earn as much as who-and-who, why here, why there and the list goes on and on...
It's not always only about how much we earn, how smart we are, how many places we've been to or how high we climb in terms of education/the corporate ladder...
at the end of the day, all the above is no-fight compared to how close we are to our family, that we know we have someone to turn to when we need a shoulder to cry on or just simply someone that's willing to listen to us; the warmth of having someone to hug u or just smile brightly when u reach home after a tough day at work.
As for me, I would exchange absolutely nothing.. NOTHING in the world for the family that I have. The thought that your favourite dish will be prepared by the Mother when she knows you're craving for it. The thought of the Daddy asking round all the Aunties around town for CL and babysitters. The thought of the Sister digging out all those instrumental music so that the baby niece would be more musical in-clined... and of course, the thought that the hubby is always there beside me no matter what happens... So u tell me-lah.. with all the above, how not to be contented? :) (so mengade-hor) hahahaha
