Help has arrived!!!!

FINALLY!!!! The long long awaited maid has finally arrived!!!
Got a call from the Agency yesterday late evening to say that the maid's ready to be collected.

Arrived at the Agency at abt 6pm and saw a whole row of maids sitted nicely waiting for their employers. There were a few people waiting for thier maids as well. After the agency person explained to her what she must and mustnt do, we brought her home.

The Agency told us that the Fomema bodycheck report will only be out a week later. If the report shows that all's ok, we wont be getting any call. So no news means good news. But if we wanna know the result, can go to www.fomema.com to get the report online.

Anyhow, we're bringing the maid for a full bodycheck ourselves. Not gonna trust the Agency of whatever report that they'll be giving, especially when the maid's gonna spend so much time with little Anne. Cant take no risk!!

So here she is. Yati, 32 years old from Indonesia. She said she has 3 kids and have never been out of Indon before. It's her first time working in Malaysia. She looks ok. Quote Mi "She looks decent. Not like those who are malnutrised" hehe..

Brought her home, gave her a short briefing of what we aspect of her and told her the basic do's and dont's. She seems ok for the start. Understands what dearie and I say and most importantly, she looks like she likes babies.

She doesnt know much about electrical items, so will have to train her from there. Washing, sweeping and moping looks ok. But not feeding, changing, burping and bathing Anne. Will have to train as well. Gosh.. I just learnt the skill myself and now have to teach dy. *pengsan*

Anyway, am glad that she's here. At least dearie wont have to do so much housework after a whole day at work outside. At least we'll have someone to bancuh susu in the middle of the night. At least I'll have someone to handwash Anne's clothes and nappy. So many "at least".. hehehe..

Hope she'll be good and kind and wont be one of the many run-away maids that we so often hear of :P
