Chinese New Year 09

Here's all of us wishing everyone a happy and prosperous year ahead! :)

Chinese New Year has been a lil quiet but nonetheless enjoyable. First time everyone in the family celebrated this joyous occassion with our very noisy little one. Also the first time the in-laws spend so much time with the little "hoi sam ko". She was an angel on the way back to Sitiawan. Sitting/sleeping by herself on her own car seat :)

Back at home, we started feeding her rice cereals on the 3rd day of CNY. Started with 2 tablespoons full of cereals with 60ml of water. SHE LOVES IT!!! The first time feeding her was a little messy as she didnt know how to eat from the spoon. But after a few spoons, she started enjoying it. After 2 days, we had to up the rice cereals from 2 to 4 spoons and she zaps up everything within 5 minutes and YELLS for more! But becoz we just introduced her to solids, I dare not feed her so much and therefore stayed at 4 spoons until the next consultation at Dr. Khoo's. If he say it's alright, then we'll add. Then again, I read for the internet that babies wont overfeed themselves. If they ask for more, usually they'll be able to digest the food... hm.. well, just incase, ya .. better ask doc first :)

The 3rd day of CNY was also Dearie's big 3-0 birthday!!! Had a quiet lunch with him on that day and at night, celebrated with the rest of the family. A very low key celebration this year. But he had this from Mi :)

Everyone is saying that this blog of mine is becoming like Ving Anne's blog instead. So well, I'll just go with the flow and upload more of her pix :P So everyone, here are the photos taken during CNY :)

(no, she cant sit by herself yet.. nor can she stand.. but with some help from our fingers, she can pull herself up from the sleeping position to the sitting and standing position, and from thereon, start jumping! :S) For a 6-month old baby girl, I think she has the world's most thunderous voice! She yells, screams and laughs REALLY loudly when we play with her and the same applies when she wants something! Like DiMi said, we cant imagine what it'll be like when she starts talking (omg!) hehehe
