Our darling...

is 25 months old... going to be 26 really soon :)

on the day she turned 25 months old, she gave up her pacifier. Nowadays, unless she requests for it, she can have sweet dreams without sucking on her dummy. However, this only happens at night. During the day, when she sleeps in her sarong or on the sofa, she still asks for it.

she has became veryyyy vocal. telling us what she wants and doesnt want, what she likes and dislikes, what songs she wants us to sing and the list goes on.

our suprise came one morning when she was feeling not too well. when we brought her to the car, she told her papa "anne anne dont wanna see doctor ar, ok! dont want ar"

and all her other sentences came after that... things like:-
"water no nice.. anne anne dont want!"
"dont wanna sleep in sarong ar"
"i dont want to sleep!!"
"i wanna watch barney, ok! 2 songs, ok!"
"ok, lets makan!"
"lets go shopping!"
"i wanna see the dog-dog, fish, peacock, elephant, cat, etc etc" (ie, referring to the pet shop at Ikano ~ obviously there are no peacocks and elephants.. hehe)
"mmmm... so nice!"
"soup is so hot!"
"wow! so cold!" ~ when she enters into her aircond room
"mommy, open your mouth!" ~ when she wants to see what I'm eating
"I want to draw!", "I want to hold!", "I want to play ball!", and the list of "I want" is endless to the point that Di said he's regretting teaching her the phrase "I want".. keke
She says "exue me" (as in excuse me) when she sneezes
When she's alarmed by something, she says "ohhh my gawddddd"
When she wants to see something that we holding/doing, she'll go "see see, see see"

We're potty training her now, but fail most of the time. She'll tell us that she wants to urinate when it's already coming out. Unless we put her to the potty every half hourly (where which she'll run for life when we say it's potty time), otherwise, we end up wiping the floor most of the time. sigh.... preserve....

When dearie and I end up going back to DiMi's abit late after work, she'll ask her Yee-Yee to "Call papa", "Call mommy"... so that she can talk to us and get us to quickly go home and accompany her :)

Her songs list has also grew quite substantially, from just knowing "Twinkle twinkle little star" to now singing all the following:-
1) Bingo
2) Rain, rain go away
3) ABC song
4) a few barney songs

of course she doesn't clearly sing each and every word, but the tune is there. Most of the time, she tries to get us to sing the songs she wants by saying a few key words. if we get it wrong, she gets very frustrated and tries to hum it out herself! It's super jolly seeing her get frustrated! hahaha

oh.. and one last thing... we often name her "Messy Hee" now coz she tends to spread allllll her toys around the house. Over the weekend, we'll find a piece of her lego at ALL corners of the house. She will purposely put all the lego into her box and throw / spread them everywhere and then start laughing :S Of course she wont have a good time after that either, coz we get her to clear them away if she wants to go "kai-kai" after that.. keke

and now... our darling girl...
She gets really cheeky...

I think she was singing! hehe

Try to beat that cheeky face!
