The month(s) of ordeal

Lots happen in the month of March...
To summarize:-
1) My 32nd birthday
2) Our first trip to Langkawi with the clan, the first flight for both kids
3) Both kids were not well
4) Mi underwent surgery at Assunta

==================
Nothing much for my birthday, which we celebrated at Equatorial bangi. Had lotssss of photos taken during the celebration. Will find time to upload some later.

Langkawi.. suppose to be a great holiday as it has been a longggg time since the whole family flew together. The last time I flew was erm.... hm... 3 years ago when Dearie and I went to KK.. longggg time ago!

Well, everyone was looking forward to this holiday, even Anne! However, the supposedly happy holiday turned out to be a nightmare! On the day we touched down at Langkawi, Anne developed high fever, up to 38.8 deg! Anne did not complaint a single bit and still wanted to walk around and go to places in Langkawi, but I guess her temperature didnt allow as it kept escalating, even after we gave her paracetamol. Ended up going to a local GP at Langkawi town which prescribed her some antibiotics and medications. At the same time, Jyn caught the bug as well and was also having fever. Both temperature yo-yo-ed between 37ish to 38ish. Anne was also coughing terribly which interrupted her sleep.

So tho the Air Asia flight was smooth and the kids were happy with it, tho the rooms at Azio Hotel in Kuah Town was spacious and comfortable, the trip to Langkawi was my worst nightmare. It's the first time where I wish to go home the day the holiday started. Felt sooooo glad and happy to be back in Kajang 3 days later.

----------------------
It was also the first time in 10 years that Dearie left us at home for 2 nights to go to Penang for his annual company budget and business meeting. He left the day after we came back from Langkawi. Of all times, he had to go for his important meeting when both kids were unwell. I nearly lost it when I had to nurse both kids which were fussy, unwell, puking here and there, with temperature shooting up and down like the share market.

I didnt know how, but I survived the 3 days, with the help from Xzan, which stayed over and layan-ed Anne in the middle of the night where we needed to wake her up to give her fever meds. I still shiver when I think of it. I now know that I definately cant live without the man in the house :P

----------------------

On Sunday, the same week where we came back from Langkawi and Dearie still in Penang, I suddenly got an SMS from Xzan that Mi has drove herself to Assunta to check on her piles and has decided to undergo operation that evening itself!!! Imagine my horror! While taking care of the kids the entire week, I didnt notice that Mi was suffering so much. Didnt know that she was in great pain all the while. And it scares me to think that she has to go through full body anesthetic for the surgery!!! I couldnt be with her before the surgery coz both kids have not recovered and dearie was still at Penang. Could only keep myself aware of the situation through sms-es with Xzan. It was the mostest-horriblest feeling ... to want to be with the kids at home, but at the same time wanting to be in the hospital with mummy-dearest which was about to go into the surgery room.

Anyway, surgery went well, tho their NZ trip has to be postponed 3 weeks coz Mi still felt tremendous pain at the raw wound area. 2 weeks after the surgery now... she's recovering well. still in soft-diet, but definately better compared to how it was like when I first saw her in hospital after her surgery. My heart crashed when I saw how painful she looked when she had to go to toilet. All I could do was sit with her in the hospital, keeping her company. I'm darn glad she's recovering now. And so in order to ensure that she recovers well, Xzan and I has taken over the dinner-cooking effort for the past 2 weeks. Super difficult task as I had to leave office at about 6.3opm (latest!) everyday and due to that, the backlog of task... my gawdd.. lets not even go there! But I'm glad that we were able to help out at home... also glad that everyday when we go home and ask Mi "how are you today", and her answer would be "very much better than ytday"... we're sure that in no time, she'll say "i'm totally fine! Lets go shopping in MV" :)

==========================

and today, barely 3 weeks after the major attack of fever, cough n runny nose of my little dearies, Anne has had fever at 38.8 deg AGAIN on Sunday.... just as she recovered today, early this morning at 4.30am, we found that Jyn was also having fever at 38.6 deg!

Jyn's fever shot up to 39deg at 11am and so Dearie rushed him to Dr. Chua. At the clinic, temp continued to rise to 39.8deg!, the highest that h/us has experienced! Dr. Chua immediately gave him the suppository and showed Dearie that there were while ulcers in his throat. We're to start with antibiotics and other meds and monitor his temp closely.

So well... so much for the month of March and April, huh...

Before I end my post... allow me to have a prayer...
I pray for everyone at home to be healthy and happy. Like I've prayed so many times before, please let me be unwell for my little ones... They're too young to go through such hardship.. *pray
