6 months and beyond!
The little boy is 6 months old today! :)
In a blink of an eye, from my tummy, to a little wriggling baby, and now he's one little darling that flips once you lay him down on flat surface.
At six months, these are the things he does:-
1) started flipping himself over on his right side - does not know how to turn himself back yet. Have flipped a few times on his left, but not his preference
2) drinks 6oz of milk every 3 hourly. Started drinking a little water, but again, not his preference :P
3) has started drinking from the no.3 teat since 5 months
4) bathes twice a days. Started to let water trickle down his face when we wash his hair, but again and again, not his preference
5) tried introducing him to the potty, but he still doesnt like it
6) he likes to be strapped onto the carrier. Bought a second hand Japanese carrier from a Forum mommy for RM20 and it has proven to be such a great purchase!!
7) has started slowly with porridge. Have not started making porridge just for him. At this point, we are only giving him Anne's porridge and adding on a little hot water to make it more watery for him. Solid is still new to him. Still does not know how to eat from the spoon properly yet.
8) from the last week of October, we have introduced to him the child seat (in preparation of Sue leaving and us having to bring him back to Di's house ourselves - no one to carry him). He seem to loveeeee the child seat! Do not fuss or cry when he's strapped onto it. Guess its because he can clearly see the vehicles and sight in front of him! :) He looks REALLY adorable on the child seat. Will post more photos the next round
9) Still wakes up very early in the morning! Latest is by 8am! Once awake, he will want to go down to the hall, play awhile on the sofa, then go back into the sarong for a morning nap :S
10) Has started to laugh and chuckle out loud :)

It is indeed VERY tiring and challenging to be managing both kids at home without a domestic helper. However, no matter how tiring it is, it brings me great satisfaction to see them sleeping soundly at night and laughing their heart out when we cuddle and chat with them. Like how I told dearie, it feels really weird that I like doing the washing, folding, porridge cooking, bathing and care-taking of both Anne & Jyn. I sleep less, I do more, but I'm happy. My hands and skin ache from all the washing, but I'm happy.
Anyway, no matter how happy, I'm still looking forward to the arrival of the Phillipino helper. Lets hope she comes really REALLY soon.
