Little boy under the weather

I called in MC today. Fever and a bad throat.

At 12.30pm, Mi texted and said Jyn came up to their car after school and slept immediately. Upon reaching home, continued sleeping. Temperature at 37.1. Knowing that Jyn's usual temperature is around 36.6-36.8, we know something is not right. True enough, 1 hr later, temperature went up to 38.8 and we started paracetamol.

From me feeling like poo from fever and sore throat, attention all shifted to the little boy where temperature lingered around 38+ despite medication. He didnt want to eat. Luckily he still drank water. Thank goodness by around 6+pm, he started sweating n thus temperature came down. Dearier brought him to the paed nonetheless which told us to monitor him n his fever. Gave us flu n throat medicine.

Baby is asleep now. No food intake today. Just 2 spoons of porridge and 2 fishballs. I feel so heartache thinking how he must have felt in school and the poor fella didnt know how to tell the teacher that he was unwell. Climbing up the car and falling asleep straight away is definately not him. Please recover soon darling..

And I pray that the stupid flu bug doesnt get spread to Anne. She has her quarterly exams next week! Pls all stay healthy.. please....
