Anne's year 1 performance

Havent had time to pen this down before this. Just wanted to remind myself that our little girl did tremendously well throughout her first year!

Started off with me being with her for 3 hrs until recess on her first day, to 1 hour the 2nd day and just abr half hour on the 3rd.. from not knowing how to differentiate the value of money to lining up with friends to buy food during recess.. from not knowing much chinese to being able to read and sing well now.

Academically, she got no. 8 during her 1st term and no.10 during the final term. Am very happy with her results and most importantly coz she enjoyed the learning process tremendously. She enjoys waking up for school everyday and looks forward to specific subjects everyday! Tho she does complaint abt the busy schedule and homeworks (which sometimes could really be ALOT!), she generally shows interest to all new things learnt in school.

Other than the exams.. she participated in a singing competition and got a consolation price, 2nd in sentence making competition and was her class group leader for 1 rotation. She has got her own group of friends and her class teacher has commented that she is well behaved and has a good learning attitude.

Am hoping that this momentum could carry on for as long as its required and here's hoping that she'll excel academically, socially, mentally and physically :D
