HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!
It's the EVE! It's the EVE!!! I can't believe that tomorrow's the Lunar New Year. Much preparation has been done to recept the year of the Dog and it's now finally here!
It will be VERY different this year as I'll be heading up to Sitiawan on the 1st day of CNY itself. Have never left home during the first 3 days of CNY all these years! It's Dear's birthday on the 29th, and coincidently, on the 30th, it's his Chinese Bday as well.
Everyone's still very busy at home. Mom has been cooking since I woke up! Xzan bathed Max, Di washed the car park area and the air-cond filters, I ironed some clothes and am to sweep and mop one final time before midnight! I think we'll help Mi fill the Ang Pows later, and also get prettty and prepare to go to the apartment to do some prayers then to PakPak's place to do some more prayers to the ancestors.
The house is all decorated and looks very pretty, all thanx to Mi!! The Chinese New Year spirit is here coz I see plants and nice-looking pillow covers and doggies everywhere!! hahaha..
The forwarded emails say that those born in the year of the monkey will have much to look out for as it would not be a very favourable year. I dont think I shall take that face value! This year (01/01/06) definately started well, and I'll use everything in me to ensure that the good chi continues throughout the year and for that matter, every year! haha.. greedy-eh? But I think, should I do my part well, I should be able to expect good returns! So.... *fingers crossed*, I shall work my arse off this year at MV, and will jaga my health and relationships with everyone!
