Walker, Porridge and more of Anne :)

After contemplating for soooooo long and going to various places looking for the right walker for Anne, we finally settled with the Sweet Cherry walker from Jusco at around RM100.00. There were so many others that I wanted to buy instead of this basic-not-so-canggih one; but like what Di and Dearie said, she might be on the walker for just a few months, why buy such a good one? So well, fine.. we shall just go with the basics. As long as the base is big enough to give good support and the walker looks steady enough and wouldnt just flip Anne when she sits on it, I'm fine.

So here it is, my little precious on her new toy :)

Children nowadays learn SUPER fast! The first day we put her on the walker, she only knew how to travel backward and she didnt know how to play with the gadgets on the front surface of the walker. On her second day, she started going sideways (yes, like a little crab!) .. After a few days, she started going to and fro, flying from the front, side, back of the house within a blink of an eye! Poor Yati has trouble keeping up to Anne as she's face and she pulls everything within reach (mainly going for things with colours like Mi's flowers, Astro's remote control, the tv, etc).

She now goes to wherever she wishes once she's placed into the walker. She reacts by coming to us when we call her name. We reward her by kissing and hugging her when she reaches our arm and she'll laugh and giggle with joy!She likes to disturb her PaPa when he's working by going close to him and holding his fingers or merely just banging into him! and what does the PaPa say? "hey anne anne... good girl!" *pengsan*.. hahaha

Food wise, we've introduced her to various rice cereals and yummy home-made porridge. We staretd the rice cereals at 2 spoons and now, it up to 6 already!

As for porridge, started with carrot with fish, then carrot with pork or carrot with chicken and since she could digest all these, Mi began to add flavour to the porridge by having spinash with pork, fish and carrot.. Delicious, I tell you! The Grandpa would finish the porridge leftover by Anne every after without fail! We first stared with 3 table spoons of porridge and within just 2 weeks, she's now having 8 spoons full and sometimes yell for more!! (What shall I do!??!!?)

I've not exactly got the right recipe to make the porridge.. but Mi makes it very easy for everyone. She'll buy the chicken/pork/fish over the weekend, wash and cut them up into the exact right size for eash meal and put them into plastic containers. All Yati need to do in the morning is to peel the carrots and wash the spinash, throw in the amount of rice that has been pre-determine together with the meat/lil bit of salt into the mini slow-cooker (Mi specially bought this for Anne's porridge!!), leave it for 2 hours and walllaaa... the world's best baby porridge is ready.

Will check with Mi the exact amount of rice/water/meat/veg to put in order to make a bowl of delicious porridge and will put it up in my next post

Got these new teethers for Anne. Can you believe that even teethers are BPA-free nowadays?! *roll eyes* Anyway, these are safe to be kept in the fridge and thereafter for the young ones to bite. The cooling effect soothes sore gums due to teething. I guess Anne is not teething just yet as she just holds on to them without putting them into her mouth.

This is how Anne sleeps when the light is on...

And this was how tired she was after playing for 1/2 hour on her walker... kekeke
