The sixth checkup

Everything seems to be more in control now. Weight, height and head measurement wise :)

She's 8.96kg now (we thought she'd be 9+kg! :P ), 67.5cm long and head measurement's at 48cm.

Got another 2 jabs on each side of her thighs. Cried abit this round, but only for 2 seconds (*good girl* mommy sayang :) :) )

Asked doc if it's ok for Anne to have solid twice a day... he says no prob! So yay! Anne shall have porridge twice a day from now on!!

Also ask doc if it's ok to have Anne on a walker. He says it's ok, but he doesnt recommend coz there are far tooooooooo many accidents affiliated with baby walkers. Reasons like:-

1) baby slides too fast and hit onto walls injuring their heads, hands, knees

2) baby cant stop in time and falls off staircases/steps

3) walker overturns

4) baby stands up and tipping over

But all the above can be avoided if you have a person monitoring the baby FULL TIME! (ie, ppl like Yati, that's paid to monitor Anne 24/7!!) So after consulting Doc, I came out and exaggerated the WHOLE thing to Yati, telling her how dangerous it is to let Anne play in the walker and she's to set her eyes only on Anne when she's on it! And she went "ya ya, saya tahu.. ok ok" hehe ;)

Also asked him on the occassional mood swings and her refusal to drink milk sometimes. He said it might be due to teething! Tried to open her mouth to see if there's any sign of milk tooth coming out, but nothing yet. But just incase her little baby teeth decides to come out within this one month (b4 we go back and consult him the next month), we bought the baby teething gel. It's to sooth the kegeraman and pain when the first tooth comes... gel is to be stored in the fridge and whenever needful, to be applied to the gum.

Dear: How come sometimes she doesnt drink milk when it's already time?

Dr.: What do u mean "it's already time"?

Dear/I: She drinks every 4 hourly.. so means after 4 hours

Dr. (looks with lan-si eyes): That's YOUR time! Not that baby's! If she's not hungry, she doesnt drink lah!

Wahlau!!! HAHAHAHA.. we felt damn stupid after that! -period-
