The 2nd time...

The day where At Sochan returned to Cambodia.

It wasn't such a teary scene this time (as compared to Yatie 2 years ago), mainly because I wasnt the one that fetched her to the agency. Upon request, Dearie agreed to lift me from this difficult task knowing how bad I am with goodbyes!
Sochan (or we call her Sue) reached here on 6 October 2009, and returned to her homeland and family today, 28 October 2011.

Though she's not the kind of perfect maid (is there such a thing??) but I guess all at home appreciates what she has done for us for the past two years. She was with us during the toughest time (when Anne was hospitalized when she was almost 2) and when we received our new bundle of joy this year. She sincerely / genuinely loved both the little ones at home, and most importantly, the two kiddos liked her.

We told Anne that Kakak has gone to work. So until this point, Anne still thinks that kakak, like all of us, have just gone off to work and is just not home yet. As for Jyn, guess he's just too young to know anything (which is good), and thank god he's close to Papa and dearie is able to take care of him.

On Sue, she had to return instead of renewing her contract coz she has a 6 year old son at home. There are also other concerns, brother met with accident, family house blew off/damaged by flood water, etc.

We felt like its just right for her to return since she's so worried about her family.

Separately, the replacement maid from Philipines is not here yet. Suppose to reach a week from now. Fingers crossed that there wouldnt be anymore delay as we have practically waited for 6 months before we got confirmation for this person! And with the ban from indon, cambodia and philipines on domestic coming in into Malaysia recently, I hope & pray that this new kakak that comes next week will be as nice as, if not better, than the previous kakakS.

Anyway, to Sue of Cambodia, thanks for crossing path with us. Your hard work & efforts are appreciated and I hope you live well with your loved ones always.

(ok, to the 2 little monsters at home, pls behave while mommy, Papa, Grandpa & Grandma take turns to babysit both of you, ok!!!)
