Cameron Highlands again =)
Yup, barely half a year since our last trip up.
Decided to head up since we have a long Merdeka weekend. However, in order to not rush with the long weekend crowd, we took leave on Thursday and left for our jolly holiday from 30th August -1st Sept.
Stayed in Equatorial this time, a nice change from the apartments we used to go to the previous two times we were there. Nice, big room, with a king size bed & (added on) single bed + baby cot.
Jyn had a great time this round as he is clearly more mobile compared to the last visit (where he could only stand and take a few baby steps). This time, he was running n dancing everywhere!!
Siow Sung & David joined us for a night from 31st Aug.. Everyone had a jolly time! I guess David would've been much happier if Jyn were to be friendlier with him. This lil boy has an attitude! He didnt want to even look at uncle David :p
Anne enjoyed herself thoroughly as well. She no longer has a peanut memory. She could tell us exactly which were the places we visited with PoPo a few months earlier! She is also much more independant now.. Walking mostly by herself without us needing to carry her much...
Agenda this time was pretty simple..
First day: Left Kajang at 6.30am, reaching at approx 11am (in-between breaks for breakkie at Bidor). Tanah Rata playground, 2 durian roadside stalls and steamboat dinner
2nd day: Smoke House for breakfast, Mardi Farm (where the kids played/fed rabbits), Strawberry Farm, Kea Farm (market), steamboat dinner & pasar malam (where everyyyyone eat to our hearts' content!! ~ after the much filling steamboat dinner, at the pasar malam, we ate kacang rebus, jagung, goreng cembedak, honey, mushrooms & durians!! Lol)
3rd day: brunch at Bharat Tea Plantation and waterfall on the way down via the Tapah old road. First waterfall visit for the kids! Jyn enjoyed himself playing with the ultra cold water while Anne sat on the stones kicking water & enjoying the breeze with me Stopped by Kuchai Lama for yong tau foo (early) dinner and reached home at around 7.30pm.
Was a great trip! Cant wait to plan the next one
