Snapshot of year 2013

Goods and bads...

The bads first
- Anne contracted some horrible virus in March, just b4 our trip to HK. Was hospitalized for 4 nights. Followed by Jyn and CM. Thank god everyone else could fight it off with the right antibiotics and all was up and about in time to enjoy the HK trip.
- contract at The Int3rmark wasnt continued. 33 of us were left with no choise but to return to mothership
- once back, swamped with major workload of outstanding items left undone with ultra short datelines; dealing with new things, new people, new environment
- money seem to be slipping away unknowingly to a separate planet. Bank account is so thin that I'm getting worried! :p

The goods
- Travelled to a whole lot of places this year:-
1) Hong Kong in March
2) Club Med Cherating in April - Dear's company trip
3) Sitiawan in May
4) Phnom Penh work trip in July
5) Kuantan work trip in August
6) Bangkok-Pattaya in September - Dear's 2nd company trip ^^
7) Pangkor trip in October
8) Singapore-Legoland-Skudai in Dec
9) PD for Xmas in Dec
So fabulous right?
- Jyn started stuttering on 31 Aug.. we were horribly worried but was reassured by many parties that its just a passing phase. 4 mths down the road now, he is much much better in his speech; still alittle stammering here and there, but much much better compared to 4 mths ago.
- Jyn has potty trained himself during the day. He has developed really fine motor skills, abit to trace on paper, feed himself, drink with cups and straws, etc
- Anne has grown up so much, bringa herself very well and is much more sociable with friends and relatives.
- With the help of great balanced home cook food, probiotic and extra virgin coconut oil, both kids seem to be active and more healthy this yr compared to the previous.
- Have learnt a great deal about being in the upper mgmt in a company filled with company politics and difficult clients. Never knew that my patience level could be brought to such high level! Frankly.. i am really proud of myself for not spitting at some of those really insane people I met this year
- Realized that I can work under tremendous preasure and tight dateline. I thought the timelines at Int3rmark was bad. Didnt know that 'bad' had a whole new level after being incharged at a few other sites!! --'

All in all, it has been a year with tremendous learning curve! At times like those, am really thankful that I had lots of friends and loved ones that stood by me and trust me.

With this.. lets end the chapter of year 2013 with a smile and welcome year 2014 with open arms!
