Our new home

Finally it reached the day we have all been waiting for.

Everyone took leave from work and school to step into the new house together! Even Dimi and Xzan were all out to help!

Started at 8am when we shifted the Kuan Yin over. Xzan was all ready to help us with lighting the charcoal! This time was very easy (as compared to our first time when we moved to our old house 9 yrs ago!)

After stepping over the pot of fire, Dearie brought in KuanYin, the kids were told to throw coins all over the house to symbolize prosperity and we litted the joss stick and served our Kuan Yin.

When the ceremony was done, Xzan helped us cook dessert with the fire pot while Dearie and I went back to the old house to wait for all the movers.

So we had the major furniture, electrical items, astro, Wifi, Diamon water, acond installation, water heater installation etc all done within these 2 days! Dimi and Xzan helped babysit the kids while we were running up and down like mad zombies!

By the end of the day, both of us couldnt feel our legs and we had blisters on our feet from walking too much! Haha

But all's good! The house is ALMOST ready now...

Just some touch ups here and there, waiting for the sofa and dining table to arrive, do up the garden, and walllaaa!! Our home is ready ^^
