MAD Valley City

It was MAD alright!!!
Due to the J-Card Sale at MVC, all those oh-so-enthusiastic shoppers came CRAWLING into MV as early at 6.30AM!!! Though colleagues already warned me that the jam would be horrendous, I didn't believe it until I saw/felt it myself! Prior to this morning's jam, I said to myself, "Who would get up at 6am, come into MV at 6.30am and start lining up in front of Jusco to wait for it to open at 7am?"... BUT boy oh boy.. was I proven wrong!!!

According to some colleagues who reached MV at 7.30am, P1 was already full! By the time I reached Old Klang Road to go into MV, cars were already lining up, crawling to get in. CRAZINESS mien!!!! Reached office at 10am instead of 9, but no one seem to borther. They took for granted that I was at Jusco! (hehe) Bosses are understanding enough to keep one eye closed whenever J-Card day comes.. staff are allowed to take turns to go to Jusco as long as someone is manning the department. However, I dont know what my immediate boss fed us, NONE of us went during office hours... :)

My first attempt was during lunch. Entered the ladies department and WHOA!!! got pushed out by the stale smell, stuffy-ness, crowd and FIERCE AUNTIES!! Didn't borther to look any longer and went to the Guy's department instead. Ok.. shoppers here are more educated. At least they say "Excuse me" when they wanna cross instead of just flaring up their hands, pushing their butts and squeezing their way thru like how the aunties did in the ladies' dept!!! *No offence here, k.. but I really think those aunties should have some basic curtosy of saying "Excuseee me" and "Sorry" ishh!! *

Anywayz, things were really cheap! Grabbed a few t-shirt for Dearie and Daddy and a pair of sandals for Mi (too bad the size wasn't right. Have to go change tomorrow. Keeping fingers crossed that they still have the size that she wants!!)

Kudos to Jusco as they opened many MANY temporary cashiers... The que wasn't as long as I expected. Paying was easy. No complaints :)

After work, tried to get into the ladies dept again. This time, all the fierce aunties were gone and only some office ladies are seen going through some baju and accessories. Got myself 2 pants and a shirt at 70% each. GREAT! :) (*note.. px, sorry-eh.. nothing for u this time coz the stuff are either too young for u, or too old/ugly according to thou taste :P muahaha)

All in all, despite having to go thru the terribly horrible jam in the morning, I'm still happy/glad I work at MV .. hehe :)
