Outa the world announcement

Of ALLLLLL ppl, my boss announced his resignation today. On a gloomy raining Monday!! As if we didn't have enough Monday bluez, he had to add salt to wound by telling us that he has confirmed his tender and the 3-month notice would start from beginning of July. But becoz he has THIRTY FIVE DAYS annual leave, upon deducting all the deductables, he'd be leaving in mid-Aug! MID AUGUST!!!! OMG! THAT'S LIKE JUST AROUND THE CORNER! *bawls*

No matter how much I complaint about work, no matter how much I dislike the working environment, I cannot deny that I like my boss! He was my mentor when I was in uni, my very first boss when I started working and was the very person who told me "Natallie, it's all right to make mistakes so long you know that you can make things right again".

My heart felt so heavy when he told us that he'd be leaving. Tho I got the rumour on Friday and thought I'd be well prepared for it when he tells us himself, boy-oh-boy, was I wrong! The lump in my throat was just oh-so-big! But well, what to do? He has made himself clear that he has made the decision and he has told the big bosses about it. So... there goes the super property manager of the company. Dont know what will happen after he leaves as there is no No. 2 to take over and there just aren't any skillful people to take over.

What's happening to to the PM Division this year?! Black Boar Year izzit!? Half a dozen of colleagues left this year. Our department has so far been the best department in keeping staff.. no resignations, no retrenchments, no retirement.. AND NOW?! ALL OF A SUDDEN!! EVERYONE'S LEAVING! CRAZINESS!! *pengsan*
