Birdie birdie

Found this cute lil thing in front of the gate with its mom standing tall on the tree next to our house yesterday evening.

We carried the little bird into our house compound as we were worried that stray dogs/cats would carry it away. Dearie got some newspapers, twigs, dried leaves and put them all in a red basket, then placed little birdie in the basket. Also gave her some bread crumbs and water just in case the mommy didnt manage to get any worms :P

When I left for work this morning, the cute lil thing was still there.. but apparently, dearie said it has flown/hopped away when he tried to relocate her to a better location. Well, just hope she'll get through this stage of learning how to fly and wont meet some feather-pouching animals throughout the journey.
