One Mth, 2 Weeks and 2 Days Away! *omg*!!!
Ok.. referring to the Wedding Prep list done back in June 07, I've managed to upgrade a few more things from the "To-Do List" to the "Done List" :)
Accomplished:-
1) Chose wedding cards
2) Ordered wedding biscuits
3) Chose actual day wedding/night gown
4) Bought "ko-tai-lei" stuff (prayer stuff, gifts, red cloth, joss-stick, etc)
5) Got tea-set for tea-ceremony
7) Chose march-in song
8) Curtain for house and new house
9) Matresses for new house (guest rooms)
10) Determined caterer/canopy supplier for party before wedding day
11) Confirmed no. of tables with restaurant
12) Decided on dinner set with restaurant
13) Sound system / DJ / MC for wedding night
14) Decided on vehicle as bridal car
15) Decided on usheres and PIC for registration
16) Decided on wine for dinner
17) Confirmed on videographer and photographer
18) Booked Make-up and hairdo artist for dinner at Ipoh
Stuff done for the wedding at Ipoh:-
1) Invitation list
2) Confirmed on dinner set and no. of tables
3) Booked accomodation for relatives that are attending dinner from KL
4) Confirmed with relatives if they'd be able to attend dinner in Ipoh
5) Registration and seating arrangements ( to be done by BIL)
ok... so stuff that needs to be done within this one month+ are:-
1) Buy new pajamas, lingerie, towels, etc
2) Choose songs for cd
3) Slide show
4) Discussions among MC on flow of the night
5) Deco for house and new house
6) Table setting/seating arrangements (almost done :) )
7) Dinner dress for bridesmaid (*edited* DONE!!! AS AT 27/9/07! YAY!)
Shout out to the brides to be!! (Fong, Angie, San) Anything else that u can think of to add for me? Anything that I've left out?

let's see. wedding shoes? choose hairstyle u prefer? decide on flowers? nat dear, don't forget your wedding is about YOU & CM yah ... so make sure you ensure both of you look ur utter best! ;)

but after preparing all the stuff needed, i come to think that a wedding is not abt just the both of us.. it's a family affair :P
anyways, shoes done coz bought during PS ma... flowers given by BS, and erm.. hairstyle? havent thought of that.. thought of letting the hairstylist do what he wants! hehe

No matter wat, u have to go thru final details with all ur vendors... check, confirm and make sure they understand, understood or understiid wat u n CM want...
1.Then wat about kuih muih for early morning for CM and his hengdai to makan when they come and pick u?
2. Confirm and double confirm with guests, whether they r coming and how many ppl coming...
3. Ur hei lamp to light up at ur bridal room sudah beli? Red umbrella?
4. Food tasting for both dinner reception venue done?
5. I tot u have wedding favour? all siap, ready and settle?
6. Ur pre-wedding album collected?
7. Trial make up done right?
8. Confirm attendance of ur chi mui and CM's heng dai...
9. Angpow to distribute to hengdai, chi mui, relatives kids and stuff... all ready?
10. Ur jewelry set?
11. New clothes for urself and CM?
12. Make up set to deco the dressing table?
13. Appointment for ur medicure and pedicure?

Angie: one jewelry set to display? display where? my mum bought me a set that she will put on me to wear after tea ceremony. is that the one?
bridal room with dressing table? i dun have dressing table wor ... and no mirror in room. so how? can just put the make-up set on the chest of drawers ah? then i stick the hei sticker on the drawers, can?

Finally, I got stuff to add to everyone's blood pressure! :):
1. Polish wedding rings (send to shop)
2. Prepare thank you cards / notes(for post-wedding)
3. Buy wedding present for CM! (and remind him to get one for u!)
4. Elect paymaster on wedding day (this is the person that vendors i.e. caterer, photographer, videographer, hotel, etc. will look for after the event when they want payment). Ensure the vendors know who to look for also.
5. Arrange dinner (or pre-dinner) for photographer and videographer
6. Give copies of program flow / itinerary of the day with timing and contact list of vendors to best man / bridesmaid / everyone important (so all the PICs know who to call when a vendor is late, etc)
7. Break-in your wedding and dinner shoes (so your feet don't kill you during the morning and dinner).
8. Order / prepare wedding morning gifts (e.g. pig, wine, etc) that CM brings to you and gifts that you give back (e.g. pig's head and tail with pants, belt and wallet).
That's about all I can add right now :P

Amy: maybe not openly display but u need to have one set... to wear or display i am not sure but my mum insists to buy one set gold... so old fashioned! argh...
Ya my parents in law bought bed and dressing table for us in Ipoh... so the dressing table needs to be decorated with makeup set and each bottle has to have stick with hei sticker and then mirror has to stick with hei sticker...
Aiyoh ppl didnt ask to share, takkan i share meh... hehe paiseh ma...

7. Wedding shoe - 3.5 inches heel shld be ok... me wearing 3.5 inches heel to work everyday... sudah biasa!
8. Ya order roast pig.. in the checklist... yes need to give back head and tail and remind hubby to give belt and pants... need to put orange as well... mum didnt say wallet... hmm...
