10 years...
Was reading Xzan's blog on how emo she and her coursemates were during the farewell do after finals. Got me thinking, I dont think my batch of coursemates had any farewell thingy after finals. All I remember was everyone packing up and getting back to our respective hometowns. Not even a last holiday or dinner together...
Was also informed by an ex-cousemate that May 23rd marks the 10th year since we first stepped into UTM. I dont think I'm included in this auspicious date as I, dengan kesiannya, was taken in during the 2nd intake.. somewhere in June '98 (dont remember the exact date as I sulked all the way to Johore back then and didnt bother to remember the date ever since :P )
Anyway, phew.. cant imagine that 10 years have passed since we were called undergrads! Maintained close contact with those who made life easier during uni-days and for those who just went back to the individual home towns and remained there ever since.. hm... lost all contact whatsoeva.
Had a nice catch up with a good ol' Elaine on Friday over sticks of satay (thanx girl for dinner! You really shouldnt have paid since it's my territory! :P) This law-yar fren of mine has been part of my life since we were barely 10 or so.. so erm... that makes... 18 years of friendship?!?! *gasp* scaryy! Everyone's all over the world now. It's just these simple catch-up dinners that remind us how diversified everyone is and it's still important to keep in touch no matter what.
