Sammi Show Mi Again Concert

Dearie purchased the tickets as a suprised gift during my confinement. I've missed Sammi's concert last year and he knows that I've been wanting to go for it. Was hesitating at first coz going for the concert at Genting means I'll need to be away from our baby for a night. But well, dearie says we should have some time off before I start work. So well, since tickets and rooms all purchased, why not? :)

So on 27th Sept, after preparing all Anne's stuff and sending her to Grandma/Grandpa's place, we headed up to Genting at around 2+pm. Reached the OVERLY packed Genting and super packed First World at 3+. Had to wait 200 numbers before we were able to check-in. After that, walked around First World Plaza and suprisingly, both of us manage to buy some stuff :)

In the evening, went for the FOC buffet dinner at First World Cafe. Food totally sucked! TOTALLY!!!!!! Rice tak boleh, spagetti tak boleh, soup tak boleh! Even the fruits and cakes didn't look appetizing!! Serious!! Anyway, just simply took some food so that I wont be hungry during the concert and goshhh.. terima padahnya! Tummy started having problems during the concert!

Anyway, lets forget abt that first. Lets focus more on the concert :)

We went into the fully packed Arena at 8pm, and at approx 8.15, Sammi appreared. The crowd went wild and cheered like mad, while I just happily looked at Sammi with a smile from ear to ear. So contented to finally be able to see her again after soooo many years!

The front part of the concert was slightly boring as she sang songs that I wasnt familiar with :P

Then from the middle part where she started having upbeat songs and the dancing numbers, the whole Arena started to come alive! Her dancing was super keng! Tho abit siaw and she wasnt able to sing with that type of dance, everyone enjoyed every bit of her show!

Sammi has got really good showmanship and her voice is still super duper good after so many years!!!! The show ended at around 10.30 and tho this was not the best concert that I've attended, I enjoyed the show very much :)

Went for some horrible supper after the show and the casino for awhile before returning to our room. I think First World has a very weird design. Their rooms are so super small, but the corridor is so super big!! Weird preference :P

At night, had problems falling asleep as I was missing Anne terribly. Dearie was saying it's a chance for me to have "uninterrupted sleep" for a night, to which I replied, "I rather have interruption than to be missing Anne like this" :P Sounds crazy, right? Just one night and I have the Mommy's separation anxiety. I never believe/knew that the feeling could be so strong. I guess it's right when people say "you wont know it till you feel it yourself". Totally true.

Anyway, thanks dear for this gift :) I enjoyed myself very much despite the frequent trips to the toilet :P hehehe.. Mwah!!
