Cheers to 29!

Only a few days ago I put up the post saying "and so our weekend started" and now... without even realizing it, 4 days zoomed past and I'm to get back to work tomorrow. But no regrets! I had a fantabulous weekend :) Movie and MV on Saturday, Steamboat porridge with the sista on Sunday, Early Bday Celebration on Monday and a warm family dinner at home tonight :)

See the Shark's fin? Like movies, we get to eat them using chopsticks! (ok-la.. i know I shouldnt eat the fins.. but then... it's soooo goood!!!!!! :P )

As for the dishes, we had some abalone mushrooms (that really tasted like abalone) for starters, sharks fin, abalone, sea-cucumber/scallops, rice and almond soup dessert. lpx's mouth must be droolllling now... hehehe...

Dinner was curtosy of the super lovable/hug-able husband. Super expensive but since we've never tried anything like this before, it was worth the experience. But I dont think I'll opt to go back coz the portions were really too small for its price :P Dont get me wrong tho, I enjoyed every dish, every minute till its very last drop of da gravy! hehehe

Really felt like a queen in the restaurant. A waiter was made to serve us. Changing cutleries and plates after every dish. Making sure we were comfortable (hm.. ok ok.. for that price that we paid, of course la.. hehe )

Oh yea! Not forgetting to thanks everyone for all the bday wishes! Thanks for all the calls, the sms-es and msg-es at FB. Thanks alot!

Had a fantastic weekend! Had a super nice early-birthday dinner and I know tonight will be equally nice with the family and am very sure the coming weekend would be even nicer! A very good start for my year-29, I would say :)

And so, that was my birthday dinner celebrated with Dearie and Anne... my first birthday celebrated as a Mom, first birthday celebration with my little one :)
