At 9 months...

Her new found skills...

This is how silly the Papa can be when he's with our angel...

She can now stand for a few seconds on her own... still very unstable but she's progressing :) We're still not confident to let her sit on her own without pillows everywhere as she's very prone to suddenly falling to her back to look at what's behind her. There were a few instances where she just turned without warning and fell on her back. Fortunately someone's always behind to hold her or else she'll knock her head to the floor! Thinking about it sends shivers down my spine!

She can also now bend to the front and stretch to reach for things that she wants to grab. Her favourite 'toys' now are the Astro remote, Papa's red pen, handphones, keys and paper. We bought her a set of dummy keys and a dummy handphone.. hm.. but children nowadays are smart. They dont like the kiddo ones.. they want to REAL thing! hmmph!

We have started pouring water over her head when we bathe her. Previously was washing her hair without wetting her face (yes Fong, it's possible to wash the baby's hair without wetting the face :P) ... but after hearing Di's story of how I didnt let him wash my hair and that I was scared of water on my face even when I was in kindergarten, we immediately decided to introduce water to Anne's face. Suprisingly, she likes it! Didnt cry or complaint! But because it's warm water, I guess she thought that it must be for drinking - coz everytime we pour water over her from the top, she'll stick her tongue out to get a few drops of the trickling water... *sigh*... Anyway, am happy enough that she's not like her momma in this context.. hehe.
