Heartache

On Mother's Day this year... instead of celebrating the joyous occassion as a new mom, I was home, worried sick of my daughter, for she was (and still is) down with fever, runny nose and cough. For the first time ever, we brought Anne to a GP. Was prescribed with antibiotics, flu an fever liquid medicine.

My poor girl was coughing the whole night with wet nose and watery eyes. My heart aches everytime I look at the young one breathing so heavily .. I feel like crying everytime I see her body jerk from coughing.

I hope to be sick for her. To feel all her pain for her. To take away all miseries from her.. so long she can be happily smilling with us again.

Dearie brought her to the GP again this morning to get some cough syrup coz she was coughing so much last nite. After having the cough syrup, my darling vomitted twice. She'll also having very loose stool. Drosy from all the medication, she cant even wave straight and calls "Papa" non-stop. She sticks to us as if she's worried that we'll leave her alone. She cries whenever we put her down ... she smiles weakly to us whenever we call her name. My heart aches so much to see her like that.

We can see that Anne's a strong girl. She still smiles when we call her. Still waves when we reach home. She's reacting well to the medication given. Hopefully she'll recover after a good night's sleep.
