Embracing the big 3-0

The actual birthday was on a weekday, therefore no mega "celebration" to embrace this old age :P The weekend before the birthday, we went to Munakata (as shown in the photos in the earlier post).

As usual, everyone ate to our hearts' content, especially Mr. Hee... all of us think he ate the entire salmon fish that night! :P

On the birth day itself, the surprise came when Dearie took out a bunch of lovely roses from his CLOSET at the stroke of 12! We were all in bed already by 11+ (on 9/3/10) coz both Dearie and I were really tired from work.. I really thought we would just sleep thru 12 midnite... but well, the husband always know which button to press to make the wifey happy... hehe..This is my requested gift from him :)

Going to the weekend after my birthday, the entire family went down to PD for a great weekend, curtosy of Rahim & Co :P Dearie had his company's Annual Budget and Planning meeting at Thistle Hotel.. so all of us grabbed the chance to spend a night at this 5* hotel...

and geeezzz... truly 5 star indeed! Everything was just perfeeeccttttt!! The rooms were nice (and they gave us 2 linked rooms), aircond cold and fresh, pool bigggg and clean, beach clean with fine sand, restaurant served good food, they had all sort of free activities for guest (table tennis, snooker, library, video room, children's play room, adult pool with bar, reading beds by the sea and the list goes on and on)..

We had a really good time there... tho it would have been better if Dearie could spend more time with us instead of being stuck in the meeting room :P If budget permits, we definitely wanna return to this hotel!

I sat on this sofa facing the sea for 3 hours while waiting for Dearie to finish his meeting... And all that accompanied me was the bday gift from Xzan, Trick or Treat by Little Black Book :) What a bliss!
