Dear Ol' Max
Came home from work and still saw the depressed, pathetic looking Max. Di brought her to the vet today and Nancy (the vet) said there were 3 possibilities to her depression:-
(1) spine problem
(2) kidney problem
(3) pancrease problem
The signs and symptoms of the above are :-
(i) spine : dog would react whenever we touch her backbone - upon testing: zipped out coz max did not squeech when Nancy pressed and examined her backbone/spine
(ii) kidney : dog would be continuously vomitting and purdging - zipped out again
(iii) pancrease : dog would be continuously thirsty and urine will be clear - zipped out coz Max terkencing at the vet and Nancy saw her urine...
Sooo, what could be the cause of her discomfort? Di said she suffered from leg pain previously. Nancy proceeded to examine her legs and TADAAAAAA... said that her knees are loose! My first reaction was, "first it was CM's knees, then it was mine, and now even MAX???".. Nancy said it's a very common problem with toy dogs like Max and the solution would be to go for a surgery! YIKES!!! A SURGERY!?!?!? our manja max?!?!? boleh ker?!?!?!? Anyway, we have not jumped into any hasty conclusion... Di would bring Max to the UPM vet for a 2nd opinion tomorrow.. hopefully the UPM vet would be able to take away Max's misery...
*pray*
